What is an inspection?

It’s a non-invasive, visual inspection of the structure and components of a home to identify items that are either not performing correctly or are unsafe. If a problem or a symptom of a problem is identified the home inspector will note the problem in a written report and may recommend further evaluation by licensed professionals. Prior to closing, you need to consider whether the repairs are needed now and who is going to pay for them.

Did you buy a newly built home in the last year?

There is no such thing as a “perfect home” and even the best of builders make mistakes. Fortunately, the warranty period, allows you a window of opportunity to have these mistakes repaired by the builder at no cost to you. Many builder errors can be missed, overlooked, or explained away by the builder. Before your home warranty is up, make time to have it inspected. The cost of an inspection will more than pay for itself when compared to the repair costs that come after the first year. Many of our clients have saved hundreds to thousands of dollars by using our services. We’ve uncovered mold, poorly constructed roofs, leaks, shortcuts by electricians/plumbers, and a world of other problems that are easily overlooked. Why spend your money when you can have the repairs done by the builder free? Free repairs add up to big savings!
